It doesn't seem like Dropout is treating those episodes (there will be 6 at least) as a regular season of Dimension 20, but they are definitely part of the series.
I'm thinking they qualify as 'specials' ?

If they do belong together it would be either a completely new show or a new season of Dimension 20.
