Noel Edmonds took to the road for two weekends in August, bringing the village of Crinkley Bottom to the racecourses at Haydock and Doncaster where it was visited by over 60,000 people. Among the attractions are flying displays, sporting events and visiting celebrities. "Crinkley Bottom can reasonably claim to be Britain's most famous village," says Edmonds. "This way, everybody gets the chance to be a villager for the day."

Noel Edmonds and his team have sprung many a Gotcha on unsuspecting celebrities, but the one involving Lionel Blair was a classic. Not only was it perfectly executed but it also showed what a true professional Blair is under some very trying circumstances.
