Disney Family Sundays - Episode Guide

Things become a real circus when the Mai family joins Amber for a craft inspired by Disney's "Dumbo." As Amber's plans take flight, the Mais must combine several different elements from foamcore to glitter stars in just the right way. The results are magnificent, and the Mais can't resist testing out their new craft with a showstopping performance.

Amber and the Chaney family take a deep dive into the world of crafting with this nautically-themed episode that's inspired by Disney's "The Little Mermaid." Their task? Come up with custom-tailored mermaid tails for each of the Chaney girls, Dinah and Leia. Amber has her work cut out for her, literally and figuratively, as she tries to create something that will fit them perfectly. Meanwhile, glitter ends up being a key component as the family looks for the best way to create customized fish scales that will help the girls show off some of their own personal flare. The question is, will things go swimmingly when the girls test out their aquatic appendages?

The Green family joins Amber for a sudsy craft inspired by Disney's "Frozen." This slippery project might seem daunting at first, but the Greens decide to let it go . In the end, they wind up with an adorable set of crafty cleaners to remind them what sisterhood is all about.

Eddie, Ryan, and Veena Crownholm are a tight-knit family that loves to travel the world together. In this episode inspired by the globetrotting journey of Russell, Carl, and Dug from the Pixar film "Up," , they'll join Amber for an appropriately adventurous craft. Combining everyday items like paper and pushpins, the Crownholm's fashion a custom way to track their trips, complete with a scaled-down version of Carl's flying balloon house from the movie. When they're finished, the family adds pins to any location they've ever visited together, as well as to the dream destinations they hope to visit someday.

This is going to be a tree-mendous craft for the Freeman family when they join Amber to make  decorations inspired by Mickey Mouse and friends. It's no holiday working with foam, lightbulbs, and squeeze bottles filled with paint, especially when the Freemans must figure out how to get that paint inside the bulbs. However, if they can find a way to do it right, the end result will be something to celebrate and will surely bring plenty of joy to the world.

This holiday-themed craft inspired by Pixar's "Cars" turns out to be the wheel deal for the Gubany family. They work with Amber using everyday objects like glass jars and rocks to create some surprisingly detailed decorations that can perk up any home come December. Bringing it all together will be a challenge, but Amber provides some festive cheer to see everyone through.

The Ruvalcaba family joins Amber to work on a craft guaranteed to give everyone a very Mickey holiday season. Combining  green tinsel yarn with pom poms and glass bulbs, Amber shares some tips for assembling a decoration that can light up any home for the holidays, even though it doesn't need to be plugged in anywhere! With plenty of help from the Ruvalcaba kids, Amber and their parents finish a beautiful decoration for the most wonderful time of the year.

The Kurzawa family feel the rush when they join Amber for a craft inspired by Disney's "Wreck-It Ralph." This project may just drive them crazy because it requires plenty of focus and attention to detail thanks to a lot of different parts, from foam to shipping tubes to pool noodles. If they can pull it off, though, this craft will make for one sweet ride!

The Mai family joins Amber for a very memorable craft inspired by Pixar's "Inside Out." In the spirit of the movie's emotional theme, Amber helps the Mais on one of her most personal projects yet.  It'll be a challenge to pull it all off, but when they're through, the Mais will have an elegant way to remember some of their all-time favorite family moments.

It's time to (tea) party when the Chaney's join Amber for a craft inspired by Disney's "Alice In Wonderland." As big fans of the movie, the Chaney's are excited to tumble down the rabbit hole and get started. By the time they're done crafting, they'll have a bright new addition to their home.

The Mai family is right on target when they tackle this craft inspired by Disney's "Hercules." They've got their work cut out for them - literally - and their aim will have to be true if they're going to take the ecelctic collection of items Amber has for them - cardboard, pool noodles, craft foam and PVC pipe - and pull together this project in heroic fashion. If they can do it right, there's still the final challenge to see whose skills are legendary.

The Gubaney family teams up with Amber to save the day with a super creative, superhero-themed craft. Taking their inspiration from Disney's "Big Hero 6," their creation resembles Baymax, the loveable healthcare companion robot from the film. Owen and Diana have to sharpen their scissors skills as Amber teaches them about the versatility of vinyl. Amber and the Gubaney's finish up by augmenting their craft with a handy Baymax wellness chart.

The Wulf family lights up when they help Amber work on a craft inspired by Disney's "Tangled." Amber shares some of her bright ideas to help the Wulf's as they attempt to recreate one of the most famous scenes from the film with a luminous result.

It's like child's play for the Freeman family when they join up with Amber on a project inspired by Pixar's "Toy Story" films.  Using ordinarily dreary fabric storage cubes, as well as her trademark can-do attitude, Amber inspires the Freemans to create something special that would make Buzz, Woody and the rest of  the gang feel right at home!

The Wulf family and Amber take things easy - Big Easy, that is - with a craft that is inspired by New Orleans and the lush imagery from Disney's "The Princess and the Frog."  The plan is to put the famiy's crafting skills to the ultimate test.  The task will require the Wulfs to master some tricky, and potentially messy, gluing and painting  techniques.  If they do it right, though, they'll discover the joy of creating a fun and functional piece of home decor that breathes new life into recyclable household materials.

The Pyle-Lawrence ladies let this craft inspired by Marie and Berlioz from Disney's "Aristocats" go straight to their heads.  Amber channels her inner feline to guide the family through the process of creating a project that will be totally purrfect.  Jewels and gems provide additional flare. Can they finish the whole thing without any major cat-tastrophes?  Fur sure!

The Green family just can't wait to be part of this "Lion King"-inspired craft. They're going to need to be prepared with aprons, gloves, and paper to protect their work surface because this just might be Amber's messiest project ever.  However, the Greens soon realize that it's easier than it looks. When all is said and done, they'll have a masterpiece that's fit for a king.

Inspired by Disney's "Zootopia," the Pyle-Lawrence ladies join Amber for a special project that will definitely charm them. There's a big surprise in store when Amber teaches them a crafty trick that involves using bent wooden popsicle sticks in order to complete this hare-raising assignment!

The Crownholm family will have reasons to cheer when they work on this craft inspired by Kermit, Miss Piggy and their Muppet mates.  Amber teaches Eddy, Veena, and Ryan how to masterfully operate a new device that transforms balls of yarn into something unexpected. When they add some felt, foamcore, and cardstock, it's time to meet the Muppets!

The Ruvalcaba family joins Amber for a plant-tastic project inspired by Winnie The Pooh and his friends.  They combine cardstock, paint, assorted planters, and a sharpie for an adorable outcome resembling the inhabitants of the Hundred Acre Wood.

This craft inspired by Pixar's "Ratatouille" is going to be old hat for the Crownholm family. With Amber's help, Eddie, Veena, and Ryan show excellent taste as they attempt to recreate a key component of a chef's uniform. If it all works out, this might be one project that really goes to their heads.

This is a real garden variety challenge for the  Pyle-Lawrence ladies as they join up with Amber to make something special that's inspired by Minnie Mouse and one of her favorite hobbies. Amber plants some creative seeds with the Pyle-Lawrences, using surprisingly simple items like felt, glue and a plain apron, to design an object that they will grow to love. Before they finish, however, will the Pyle-Lawrence family remember to add the one last bit of decoration that's essential for all things Minnie?

The Ruvalcaba family joins Amber for a craft that is inspired by none other than Minnie Mouse and will leave things up in the air. Literally. The family learns tips and tricks about how to assemble their craft, adding enough bows and polka dots to make Minnie proud. Working strictly with basic items like glue, foam, paint, and red (naturally) nylon, the family mimics Minnie's unique style. Then, the pressure is on when it's time to see if their plans will fly as they take their new craft out for a test.

The Chaney family joins Amber for this so-fish-ticated challenge inspired by Pixar's "Finding Nemo" and "Finding Dory." Leia, Dinah, Jenielle, and Todd learn how to create a radiant replica of Nemo's and Dory's underwater home, and Amber clues them in on her surprising, crafty trick for colorizing sand.  Meanwhile, the Chaneys will also have to rely on seaglass, succulents, tealights, and figurines of the films' characters to complete this task.

In honor of Earth Day, the Mai family creates an eco-conscious craft inspired by Pixar's "Wall•E." Using some recycled ideas, Amber shows the Mais how to reuse items bound for the trashcan, like old soda cans and oatmeal containers, to create something that is perfect for their home and good for the environment.

Who says you have to grow up?  Not the Kurzawa family!  They work with Amber on a craft inspired by Disney's "Peter Pan" that is designed to bring out the child in everyone. The Kurzawas have to find a way work together in order to create a toy that kids have enjoyed for generations. As Caleb flaunts his suprising scissors skills and Zoe really lets herself go with the glitter, Amber explains the history of this craft. Then, it's time for the whole team to come together to put on a performance to test their work.

Ohana is the name of the game for Amber and the Green family in this craft inspired by Disney's "Lilo and Stitch." Amber has a few ideas to add to an already out-of-this-world craft that will definitely drive them a little coco-nuts! Once complete, the Greens have a fun wall decoration that will help them remember their favorite family moments.

Amber will offer the Gubany family a picture perfect craft inspired by Disney's "Moana" and its villainous crab, Tamatoa. Naturally, the Gubany's will have to get their hands on plenty of seashells to create just the right aquatic appearance for their project. They'll also need to add a very personal touch before they are able to finish up. In the end, they'll wind up with something that shellibrates the whole family.

The Ruvalcaba family joins Amber to learn the bare necessities of finger puppet craftsmanship in this episode inspired by the characters from Disney's "The Jungle Book." Baloo, Bagheera, Kaa and Mowgli all come to life as Amber makes the family put their scissor skills to the test.  Things get even stickier for the Ruvalcabas - literally - when they have to figure out how apply eye-shaped stickers to their creations. Then, perhaps the biggest challenge of all - transforming a shoebox to bring it all together.

The Chaney family joins Amber for a Minnie and Mickey Mouse-inspired craft they can really sleep on.

Who says you can't be Goofy and organized at the same time? Not Amber or the Gubaney family, who connect to work on a Goofy-inspired craft. She will show them how to turn a simple item from the cupboard into a fun organizational tool that's sure to stand out. Meanwhile, the biggest challenge of all may be figuring out which Gubaney is the Goofiest!
