In this third episode we find out what happens once all the passengers are gone and the station closes its gates for the night. Susan and the staff are entertained by the passengers as Beyonce and Jay Z are in town, Conductor Catherine takes us on a journey over the border and the TransPeninnine staff struggle to get their customers on trains as there is cancellations across the board. There's romance under the clock and Sajid is on his last shift before he retires after 45 years in the station. Can Gold Command keep the network running as Storm Hector causes havoc on the tracks? And will the Beyonce revellers get home safe with no slips, trips and falls?

In this fourth episode, temperatures rise in and outside the station as the heat causes points failures and disruptions across the board. Tom and Marie reminisce about their holidays to the coast in the Glasgow Fair and the Comms room work hard to get the bank holiday passengers to their destinations in time. Tour guide Paul reveals the stations wartime past and passenger Margaret remembers being evacuated from Central in WWII. Duty manager Drew has an unusual health and safety check to complete and we meet Alison, one of ScotRail's few female drivers. The lost property office turns up some curious items left behind by passengers and some mischievous guide dog puppies are in training on the concourse.

In this fifth episode, the staff and passengers don their glitter and rainbow colours to celebrate Glasgow Pride - including Virgin customer service assistant Thomas, who arrives on a fabulous rainbow-clad train. Students from the Royal Conservatoire use the concourse as a location for a very special film, and Hashmi reveals some of the stations past in his tailors shop underneath the station. Driver Rab is up bright and early to get to his engine, and cleaner Alistair performs a quick turnaround for the morning rush hour. Paul Simon fans experience a wait on the low level as they head to the Hydro music venue and signaller Brian explains how Victorian engineering and modern technology all work together to keep the network running.

Ex British Transport Police officer, Bob takes a walk back in time to the 80's and we find out what's it's like to police the station today with Sergeant McWhirter. Tattoo artist Lorraine compares working under the Heilanman's umbrella today with the past and a street art mystery is revealed in the Arches bar. Staff deal with disruptions caused by overhead line problems and Drew reflects on how special his town within a city is and what it means to the people of Glasgow.

Change is happening at Glasgow Central, with the beginning of a huge multi-million pound renovation across the Argyll line – bringing with it challenges for passengers and staff alike. A Scotland game at Hampden sees the concourse flooded by football fans but there's not enough trains.
Outwith the station, the Network Rail helicopter takes to the skies to survey the lines around Central for faults. Drew calls in the emergency services to help with a pigeon trapped in the station.

Outside of the station, the team at Polmadie depot work against the clock to get the iconic Caledonian Sleeper back on for its nightly service.
