There will be no more Krypton on Syfy. The network has opted not to renew the Superman origin drama series, and the recent August 14 Season 2 finale was a series’ finale on the NBCUniversal cable network.

At San Diego Comic-Con this summer, the producers of Krypton announced that Lobo, the intergalactic bounty hunter known for his mean attitude and meaner right hook, would be prominently featured in the SYFY Superman prequel’s second season. Today, it was announced that Irish actor Emmett J. Scanlan will be the man bringing the universe’s last Czarnian to life.

DC Comics villain Lobo will be wreaking havoc on the second season of Syfy’s Krypton. Producers announced the plan for the introduction of the character during the show’s panel Saturday at San Diego Comic-con. Casting for the character has not yet been announced...
