maybe first instance of "Chair" used about half dozen times thru 1959. I dunno if the bird dropped down but it was fun to watch (TUBI late 2024) some old episodes. I am old enough that I might have watched the original airings of later episodes. I have never forgotten that duck? dropping down. !!!
