Hunter x Hunter - Episode Guide

Gon must fulfill a promis to Mito-san to take the hunter exam, the hunter candidates encounter problems during the sea voyage to the hunter test site.

Gon searches for a ship to take him to Dolle Island; Leorio saves Gon from falling prey to a trickster.

Gon, Kurapika and Leorio arrive at the exam site.

In the first phase of the exam the participants have to follow the first examinert hrough a tunnel. Gon befriends Killua on his run to the exit. 

The participants in the exam emerge from the long tunnel to find themselves in a foggy wetland.

The Gourmet Hunters Menchi and Buhara task the applicants to cook a pork dish for the Second Phase.

Chairman Netero challenges Gon and Killua to a game of skill, which Gon refuses to lose.

The airship arrives at the site of the third phase. To pass this exam, applicants must reach the base of the tower within 72 hours.

Gon, Killua and Leorio want to buy Greed Island, but first have to raise enough money to make the purchase.

The Phantom Troupe captures Gon and Killua, who are questioned about the chain user that the Troupe seeks.

After being brought to the Phantom Troupe's hideout, Gon and Killua are held captive by Nobunaga.

The auction gets rescheduled; the Mafia think the Phantom Troupe will attack again.

The Troupe mount a massive, powerful attack at the auction, and the Ten Dons' hired assassins struggle to keep up.

Kurapilia is surprised to find out that the leader of the Phantom Troupe has been killed, and wants to get a glimpse of the body.

Gon, Killua, Kurapika and Leorio reunite, and Kurapika informs the others of his nen powers.

Chrollo does some fortune-telling for all the Troupe members, and they begin to suspect Hisoka of betrayal.

Chrollo is able to identify the whereabouts of the chain user by using the info he has on Neon.

The Phantom Troupe discover that Kurapika is responsible for Uvogin's death; Gon and Killua go to the hotels lobby...

Chrollo is captured by Kurapika, who will release him when Gon and Killua are brought to him by Pakunoda.

The game Greed Island, which holds a clue to finding Ging, goes up for auction; Gon and Killua ask the winning buyer to hire them as players, but they must work on strengthening their Nen to make themselves eligible.

Gon and Killua attempt to be chosen as Greed Island players, but it is a highly selective process.

Gon and Killua get inside the world of Greed Island, but they discover a message from Ging to Gon there.

Gon and Killua look for spell cards in Masadora, and they encounter a variety of monsters on their journey.

Bisky wants to train Gon and Killua. and their first test is to defeat a bounty hunt within two weeks.

Bisky oversees gradually improving Nen by Gon and Killua, who now have the ability to capture previously unbeatable opponents.

Bisky's lecture on rock-paper-scissors inspires Gon to work on a special technique.

A reunited Gon, Killua and Bisky start collecting cards to gain an advantage.

Gon and Killua are invited by the other players to join forces in order to stop Genthru from beating the game.

Gon and his pals must chase 15 pirates out of town in order to obtain Patch Of Shore.

Gon and his pals join Hisoka and Goreinu to challenge Razor again, and Team Tsezgerra also helps them.

Gon can't hold onto Razor's throw and gets sent to the outfield. Later Gon uses Back to return.

The players have to battle Genthru in order to beat the game, so Tsegerra offers to keep Genthru busy.

After finding whats left of a destroyed village, Gon, Killua and Kite have their first encounter with a Chimera Ant.

Some of the more combative Chimera Ants decide to eat the villains who ran the NGL underground.

The Hunter Association plan to eliminate the Chimera Ants, who are busy targeting Gon and his friends.

Hagya has his soldiers hunt Gon, Killua and Kite; Gon and his friends have a tough time when the Chimera Ants attack.

Kite, Gon and Killua follow Hagya as the look for the Chimera Ant nest with the Queen.

Kite acts as a decoy so Gon and Killua can free themselves; the two boys then promise to save Kite.

A tired Gon and Killua return to their lodging after a battle with Knuckle but they are in for a surprise.

The Queen finally fives birth to the King, whose intimidating aura cows the rest of the Chimera Ants.

The dying Queen of the Chimera Ants names the chosen King.

The King goes on the move, and his powers magnify after he invades the Republic of East Gorteau and eats a Nen user.

Killua runs across Rammot in the forest while Gon and Palm are on a date, and Killua tries to protect Gon.

The huge difference in physical strength between Chimera Ants and humans become apparent.

Kalluto, Feitan, Shalnark, Phinks, Shizuku and Bonolenov get to Meteor City after hearing the news about it.

Zazan erects a new Chimera Ant nest in Meteor City, and the Phantom Troupe members go inside the nest to battle Zazan.

Gon and Killua arrive at the Republic of East Gorteau to halt stop the selection process, and make a discovery.

Killua and Gon go separate ways to halt the selection process, but Gon runs into trouble when he is blocked from reaching his goal.

Cheetu disappears just as Knuckle and Shoot are about to ambush him.

Killua confronts Ikalgo, but is forced to save him from his own subordinates.

Meleoron reveals his real motives on joining Gon and shows him his Nen abilities.

Meruem and Komugi the Gungi Champion start to play Gungi. Morel faces Cheetu in a fight.

Morel sets a trap for Cheetu.

Meruem proposes a wager in the next game. Knov and Palm search for a way to sneak into the king's palace.

Knov reaches the palace, opening exits with his ability at several locations. Morel confronts a Chimera ant who thrives on leverage.

Morel and Leol battle in a underground church. Killua rejoins Gon along with his new friend, Ikalgo.

Gon and the Hunters prepare to infiltrate the palace.

The preparation to break into the palace continues.

The Chimera ant king becomes more reclusive as the sorting gets closer, meanwhile the wolf-like chimera ant Welfin finds a intruder in the palace.

The assault on the royal palace begins as Gon and his friends break inside.

Gon and the others appear at the main staircase but their progress is momentarily halted when Dragon Dive finally hits the palace. 

The Extermination Team gets separated after the central staircase gets destroyed.

The King confronts Netero and Zeno.

Knuckle takes his fight with Menthuthuyoupi outside the central staircase as Gon and Killua finally come face to face against Neferpitou.

Upon entering the tower Gon and Killua find Pitou in a vulnerable position while operating on Komugi. Gon has trouble controlling his anger and demands to fight Pitou to avenge Kite.

Zeno is stopped by Cheetu after leaving the palace and Cheetu is desperate to test his new ability on Zeno. Zeno warns Cheetu to watch his back, meanwhile Knuckle is trying to escape Youpi with a seriously injured Shoot.

Youpi pretends to become irritated with Loanboy.

Youpi finds himself admiring the strength of his opponents; Ikalgo takes advantage of the Palace's security system to escape the Chimera Ants.

Knuckle is upset when he finds out that the seriously injured Shoot is missing, Morel vigil outside the cocoon comes to an end.

As Neferpitou heals Komugi, Gon waits impatiently. The battle between Morel and Youpi advances to it's final stage.

Zeno's Dragon head flies to deliver it's cargo to the battlefield, The Ant King, Mereum and Netero travel with it. Pouf continues with his plan to find the King.

While the fight between the King and Netero starts, Ikalgo is underground reflecting on his inability to finish off Brovads. Ikalgo finally recalls his mission.

Palm awakens and exits her cocoon after her capture by the Chimera Ants and then encounters Killua and begins a hard battle.

King Meruem and Netero continue their battle while Gon and Neferpitou go into the final ten minutes of Komugi's recovery.

As Netero fights the King, he uses his ultimate technique. The King tries to counter Netero's attacks.

Neferpitou's time to heal Komugi is up, and Gon demands for their fight. Knuckle and Killua are tasked to watch over Komugi while the battle rages.

Pouf and Youpi use part of their own bodies to heal King Meruem, who revives stronger than he was before.

The King appears to have lost a lot of his memories. He returns to the palace with Shaiapouf and Menthuthuyoupi with him to help regain his memories.

The King returns to the palace with hopes of recovering his lost memories. Gon has a request to make of Pitou.

Gon has made his request to Pitou about Kite and pays a terrible price when things go awry.

The King struggles in his efforts to recover his memories then knocks out Mereoron and Knuckle Bine.

While on his way to a hostage exchange, Welfin encounters Youpi.

When Meruem has a conversation with Welfin, it stirs up memories of Komugi which sends him off on a new objective.

Meruem takes on Komugi in Gungi once more.

Reina is seeking her mother, while Colt reveals a intriguing secert. Killua is in fear that she will loose Gon.

When it is time to choose Netero's successor, Ging starts to set up the rules for the election. The first round presents to clear winner. Illumi tries to keep Gon and Killua safe.

When the election reaches a stalemate, Pariston takes advantage of the situation and attempts to bend the rules in his favor. Killua hopes that family will be able to come up with a solution that will help Gon.

Killua is reunited with his sibling while his older brother tries to get assistance from Hisoka.

Multiple butlers from the Zoldyck Estate are ordered to follow and keep tabs on Killua. If he breaks any rules he'll be brought back home. Leorio who arrives at the election conference, asks Ging why he hasn't gone to see his son yet.

Leorio rises to the third place in the election. Illumi plans on killing Alluka. After being separated from Killua, Gotoh is confronted by Hisoka.

Tsubone, Amane, and Canary continue to chase after Killua. Killua sends a group of Hunters to capture Illumi.

Illumi and Hisoka easily defeat all the Hunters sent after them. Finally cornered by Illumi, Killua is forced to reveal another rule to Alluka's abilities.

After Leorio gives his speech he is shocked with a roar of applause. With Leorio seemingly about to win the election, Pariston steps in with a speech of his own.

Leorio is about to win the election, but loses all motivation to continue after a fully healed Gon appears before him. Surrounded by his friends and the other Hunters who celebrate his recovery, Gon meets his father at last.

Gon apologizes to Ging for failing to save Kite and his father instructs him to apologize to Kite himself instead, affirming that he will wait for him to return. Meanwhile, Killua seals Nanika away, to ensure that Alluka can live a normal life beside him.

Gon, Killua, and Alluka journey to the World Tree where Killua reveals Alluka's powers to Gon. Killua vows to protect his sister and says farewell to Gon, promising they'll meet again.

Gon climbs to the top of the World Tree where Ging is expecting him, and the two finally have a heart to heart talk. Throughout this conversation, Ging reveals his intentions to explore the world beyond the current boundaries known to mankind and Gon tells him of all his adventures.
