The ambiguity of the ending was superb, one can re-watch the last couple of minutes numerous times. Her overall life in her marriage seemed so believable, stayed in it rather then divorce, and moved on years prior. Like a comfortable pair of shoes which should have discarded years prior.

That was an impressive opening and conclusion, I can only imagine exactly what put Emma into that particular situation.
