Bobby is accidentally given a black eye when he is not paying attention in a ball game and then he gives Peggy a black eye throwing his baseball in the house and Hank is turned into child protection services for abuse.

When Peggy is recruited to teach a sex education class at school, Dale makes anonymous call to the Hill house trying to get her to drop the class. Hank gets bent out of shape about Bobby taking the class.

Hank must go to extremes to keep a national propane buyer's account from going to a competitor.

Bobby joins the wrestling team at Tom Landry Middle School. When Connie decides that she, too, wants to wrestle, Peggy uses Title IX of the Civil Rights Act to force the coach to give her a tryout. But the coach gets his revenge by pitting Connie against Bobby in a wrestling match. Bobby and Connie devise a little plan of their own to outsmart the coach's decisions.

Hank's mother comes to visit for Christmas with her new boyfriend, Garry. When Hank walks in on his mother and Garry having sex, he goes blind. Garry figures out the problem, and tries to help regain his sight, and they end up at a Faith Healing Church for answers.

Luanne finds puppets at a yard sale and starts a puppet show called the Manger Babies. Her show then interferes with Hanks plans for the Super Bowl.

Cotton moves in with Hank after a fight with Didi, then he gets mad at Hank and moves in with Dale when Hank causes him to fail his drivers license test. Cotton then steals Santa Anna's leg to hold it hostage to get his license back.

Released from jail, Luanne's mother stays with the Hills and then starts to date Bill.

Hank is given the responsibility of hiring Strickland Propane's next employee and he ends up hiring a recovering drug user and gets Peggy mad at him because of the woman he did not hire in the junkies place.

Bobby takes a summer job as a vendor at the local NASCAR track working for a moron.

Peggy quits her job to stay at home and meets an angry female rocker while taking guitar lessons.

Hank looses his job at Strickland when Buck lays people off because of Mega Lo Mart selling propane. Hank decides to get even with Mega Lo Mart.

Hank and Luanne survive the Mega Lo Mart explosion, but Buckley is no more. Hank finds that he is scared of propane, and tries to figure out how to deal with his fear of dying. Meanwhile, Luanne, who lost all her hair in the explosion, decides to become an activist like Sinead O'Connor.

Bobby starts dating Marie, a girl who's two years older than him. Bobby takes the relationship more seriously than Marie does, and is heartbroken when she dances with other guys. Marie decides to "move on" leaving Bobby an emotional wreck. Meanwhile, Hank and the guys find an abandoned couch in the alley, and grow to depend on it.

When Peggy starts writing "musings" for the local newspaper, the pressure gives her a headache, so she goes to John Redcorn for a theraputic massage. When she finds out that Dale's wife Nancy is having an affair with John Redcorn, she is so horrified that she decides to tell Dale about it.

Peggy starts going ballistic during Hanks attempts to get Lady Bird pregnant; Dale becomes a bounty hunter.

Hank and Peggy decide to try and have another child; Didi informs Cotton that she is pregnant and it becomes too much for him to handle and he takes off to Las Vegas.

John Redcorn tries to get closer to Joseph and Bobby ends up getting wrong ideas and decides Thanksgiving is wrong.

The guys are out celebrating Bill's birthday and while in a elevator they talk Hank into mooning people. However, Hank ends up mooning the ex-governor of Texas and Bill steps in and protects him. Peggy discovers cooking with Charcoal when they run out of propane while Hank is gone.

When Peggy supervises the Spanish classes field trip to Mexico, she accidentally brings a Mexican girl back with her believing the girl is one of her students. Hank is stopped by a female police officer and she thinks he is flirting with her.

Hank gets Buck Strickland out of jail and the judge assigns him to community service with Habitat for Humanity. Peggy and Dee Dee plan a extravagant Christmas dinner at the new house for the occupants. Hank has issues with Cotton.

Kahn tries to bribe bobby into breaking up with Connie but the kids come up with a plan and the scheme backfires on him.

Bill depresses Bobby on Valentines day while Hank and Peggy are out on the town. Boomauer gives Bobby advice on love so Bobby can impress Connie.

Cotton and his war buddy cronies loose their VFW due to lack of money. They are forced to move in with Hank and Peggy. Dale Gribble gets a falcon and tries to train the bird.

No one is getting sick and calling off work so Peggy can be called in. She then impersonates a nun at St. Ignatious to land a teaching job.

Bill gets upset about blacked out items in his military medical file. Dale sneaks in and takes photo's of Bill's file and shows it to everyone. Bill then gets extremely upset and drunk and steals a tank from the military base.

Hank and Dale realize that they do not have anything in common with their sons. Dale starts to obsess with Joseph having been fathered by an alien.

After Hank and the guys build a golf hole in the back yard, he is invited to join the Nine Rivers Country Club.

The guys try to buy Alamo beer and none of the stores have any. Peggy starts to work at Alamo as a Spanish Interpreter and finds out the reason. The guys later go to Mexico and by a carload of Alamo beer and find out themselves why there is none available at home.

Luann Joins a cult thinking it is a sorority, she drags Peggy in with her. Hank and the rest of the Rainy Street guys go Emu hunting for Buck Strickland and havoc ensues.

Hank invites Dale's gay dad to Dale and Nancy's wedding vow renewal, Dale thinks his dad is a woman chaser and is after Nancy.

After helping Nancy set up her new hot tub, Hank starts having a recurring dream about barbecuing naked with Nancy. When Peggy finds out, she freaks out and tries to cure the problem ending up at a nude beach.

A marriage proposal is made when Bill and Boomhauer compete for the same woman's affections.

Peggy tries to find ways to get the newspaper she writes for to pay for free trips, Cotton goes back to Japan to supposedly apologize to the families of soldiers he killed during WWII. Hank makes a startling discovery once he arrives in Japan.

Cotton gets so upset, he makes getting to the Emperor of Japan so he can spit on him his main mission in life. Hank and his new found brother have to stop him.

Hank stops Bobby from listening to some of the modern music he considers to be trash and ends up giving his approval to a boy band until he see's Bobby doing very suggestive dance moves at a concert.

Bill gets wrapped up in food eating contests when he becomes the center of attention. Peggy does everything she can to keep Bobby from finding out there are food contests out there.

Bobby meets a tough gal cousin of Connie's and gets drawn in to helping her make drugs thinking it is candy for a school science fair.

Hank is discouraged when Bobby takes a home economics course, until he starts to reap the benefits. Bobby learns to cook, clean and sew better than Peggy, causing a jealous streak that leaves Peggy a bit unstable during the holidays. After she takes off with the raw Thanksgiving turkey on Bobby's bike, Hank realizes that he needs to make ammends.

Hank and Bobby go head to head in a craze imported from Canada: dog dancing. Hank catches Bobby Dog Dancing with LadyBird, and he is furious. He demands that Bobby stop. Bobby takes on Connie's dog, 'Doggie' as his next partner, and they begin to train. Meanwhile, LadyBird lets Hank know that she wants to dance, so the competition begins, Old school vs. New age. When a competition comes to town, they showcase their talents, along with Bill, who purchased a Rottweiller that hates him.

Hank becomes obsessed with Bobby's new project of growing roses for show.

Hank discovers that Dale has dug a tunnel all the way from his home to under Hanks kitchen when he falls through the floor. He has to move out of his house until the floor is safe again and stays with the Gribbles. He is then cutting the wood and Dale puts his hand in front of the skill saw not paying attention and Hank cuts a finger off. Hank then has to take a anger management course when Gribble files charges.

Peggy persuades Hank to take over the lease for a local bookstore that is closing so she can be part of a exclusive book club.

Peggy forces Luanne to quit her job as a waitress, and then signs her up for a course on enterpreneurism. There she meets Trip Larsen, head of Larsen Pork Products. Trip takes an interest in Luanne, and she soon becomes his girlfriend. Peggy suspects that Trip may be crazy, but when she orders Luanne to break up with him, Luanne refuses and moves in with Trip at his mansion. Trip forcibly dyes Luanne's hair red and makes her dress in a milkmaid's outfit. Luanne discovers that he is trying to turn her into the Larsen Pork Products Girl, an advertising character his grandfather created.

The Mega Lo Mart has a pest-control problem, and the manager asks Hank to recommend an exterminator. Though fearing that Dale will screw it up, Hank reluctantly recommends him for the job, because he needs the work. The extermination process begins, and he soon suspects that the real culprit is not rats, not mice, but Mega Lo Mart spokesman Chuck Mangione. With hank's reputation on the line, he takes matters into his own hands.

Buck Strickland and his brother puts LuAnne into show fights, she is unaware that the fights are rigged. Peggy convinces Luanne to fight George Foreman's daughter Freeda in the ring.

John Redcorn worry's about Dales ability to raise Joseph and attempts to teach him in a round about way of his heritage. Dale decides that he is a Native American after having a vision.

Hank makes weekend plans without consulting Peggy, and the fallout drives them to a marriage counselor. The therapist learns that one of the couple's dreams is to own his-and-hers motorcycles, and suggests they buy one and share it in an effort to bring them together. His plan backfires when, on the advice of a middle-aged biker couple, the pair head to Sturgis, S.D., for an annual biker gathering. Hank refuses to share the driving with Peggy, fearing that he will be mocked, but when Hanks glasses get trampled, and he can't see...he has no alternative but to take a back seat.

Peggy, Minh and Nancy resolve to save an after-school program from being shut down, but political back-stabbing ensues when all three of them want to run for a seat on the school board. Each one turns on the other, and in the course of all of the trickery, they lose sight of what is important.

Hank gets frustrated with Bobby not doing what he is told and sends him to the Military Academy that Cotton Hill went to as a cadet.

Hank introduces Bobby to the world of propane and propane accessories, meanwhile, Bill straps weather balloons to a chair and attempts to fly with the assistance of Gribble and Boomhauer.

Buck Strickland looses Strickland North because of his gambling and his wife leaves him. Hank then turns him on to Jesus and Buck ends up with Luanne as his bible teacher much to Hank and Peggy's distress. Bobby becomes a food fancier while doing track.

Dale calls upon a master exterminator when he has problems with pigeons in the neighborhood and can not get rid of them, Nancy starts to get jealous when they hit it off so well.

Kahn's mother starts doing maid work for people in the neighborhood and Kahn is aghast.

Hank is enthusiastic about Bobby's new hobby of cards, envisioning his son as an aspiring poker shark. But they're really tarot cards, and Bobby's fortune-telling brings him to a coven led by a nerdy thirtysomething who urges him to focus his energies on developing otherworldly powers and defying his father.

Boomhauer is thrown for a loop when his brother is going to marry the love of his life.

Bobby becomes involved with the church youth group who looks like a bunch of toughs and Hank freaks out.

Willy Lane a former Dallas Cowboy moves onto the street and the guys are awestruck. Bobby learns dirty NFL tactics.

Hank is ran ragged at work because of fellow employee call offs and Peggy, not listening to him decides that he has low testosterone after they take Bobby to the Doctor. She secretly slips Hank doses of testosterone and he starts going through puberty again.

Peggy accepts a tutoring job in Mexico helping actor Monsignor Martinez's children prepare for the SAT's; Luanne takes on Peggy's homemaker duties while she is gone and drives Hank nuts.

Hank is looking forward to being on the parade of homes until his latest project ends up with the house being declared uninhabitable.

Hank and Bobby hit the road in an 18 wheeler to deliver a load of his mothers furniture out to Arizona for her. The guys stow away in the back of the trailer without Hanks knowedge. Meanwhile, Peggy and Luanne write a Christmas carol to make money.

After becoming inquisitive about how much money the family makes, Bobby decides that he will do some investigating of his own. After seeing some old paperwork in the garage, Bobby determines that Hank is a rich miser. Feeling that Hank is just being greedy, he goes on a shopping spree with Hank's emergency credit card. Meanwhile, news of Hank's hidden wealth spread through the alley and out about town.

Peggy designs art for Strickland Propane when Hank can't find anything decent at the local art shops then her work is picked up by a art dealer. Dale discovers the joy of owning a suit of armor.
