Born in Southampton, Hampshire, England, Luke Thompson was raised in France from the age of two. Returning to England in 2006 he studied at the University of Bristol and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He appeared as Lysander in the 2014 film Shakespeare's Globe: A Midsummer Night's Dream, followed that same year by a guest appearance in an episode of The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher.
