Jang Hyuk is the stage name of Jung Yong Joon, a popular South Korean actor who is known for his eccentric roles and his raucous laugh. He made his acting debut in the 1997 television drama Models. He then appeared in the music video for the debut single for popular boy band g.o.d in 1999 and also released his own rap album in 2000 under the name TJ Project.
After being cast in his first leading role in 2001, Jang Hyuk has won many acting accolades for his film and television work. One of his most popular roles was in "Please Teach Me English" (2003).
Jang Hyuk practiced Jeet Kune Do for more than 10 years and is a former professional Taekwondo athlete. On June 2, 2008, Jang tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Kim Yeo Jin. His close friends, singer Kim Jong Kook and actor Cha Tae Hyun, participated in the wedding ceremony. The couple has two sons, one born in February 2008 and one in November 2009, and one daughter, born on April 16, 2015.
