Born in Epsom, Surrey, England, Andrew Koji continued his training in several martial arts, exploring Thailand and Japan, taking on small acting jobs and various odd jobs to pay his bills. On returning to England he trained at the Actors Temple in London, performing on stage with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Mostly working in the background as a stunt double, he landed the minor credited role of Kali in the 2007 film FB: Fighting Beat, continuing to struggle to gain traction as an actor in the industry until 2017, when he landed the lead role of Ah Sahm in the series Warrior.
