Born in Belgrade, Serbia, Bojana Novakovic was raised in Australia from the age of seven. She studied at The McDonald College in Sydney, and in 2002 graduated with a BA from the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Early credits include appearances in the 1997 film Blackrock along with a guest appearance in an episode of Heartbreak High.
