Born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Corinne Bohrer was raised in Pennsylvania, Montana and finally Artlington, Texas where she briefly attended the University of Texas to study journalism. While in college she modeled, worked as a dancer and performed in commercials, which led to her move to Hollywood and the start of an acting career. Her first on-screen role was in a 1981 episode of McClain's Law, followed by a minor role in the 1982 film The Beach Girls.
