Hudson Macready

Hudson Macready is a gifted singer, songwriter, musician, and actor from Knoxville, Tennessee, whose playing is rapidly establishing himself as an up-and-coming talent. He plays the drums, guitar, and piano. Hudson's skill and passion for the instruments have already attracted the attention and support of several high-profile players. When Hudson was ten, he posted a video of himself performing a cover of Dave Matthew's Here on Out. Matthews was so impressed with his rendition that he invited Hudson to meet privately backstage following one of his shows. To date Hudson and his band have warmed up the stage, for titans like Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, Andy Timmons, Josh Smith and Mark Lettieri.

At 17, Hudson wrote Better Man, inspired by witnessing his great uncle's journey through alcoholism, divorce, and eventual sobriety and remarriage. The song resonated deeply with fans, gathering nearly a million views and connecting with listeners who shared similar experiences.

Hudson has also expanded into acting, with a recurring role on ABC's top-rated show High Potential starring Kaitlin Olson. He plays Ryder the boyfriend of Ava (Amira J) daughter of Morgan (Kaitlin Olson). Balancing music and acting, Hudson is committed to telling stories that resonate with people, whether on screen or through his songs.
