Ella Jones

Ella Jones is a film director, actress, and script editor born and based in London, she graduated with a double first in History from Cambridge University.

Beginning her career as a professional actress before moving through film and TV development into directing, Ella's short films have played at festivals including Phoenix, LA Comedy Fest, and Portland. Her first feature, a romantic comedy about polyamory, is in development with Film4. She recently shot her first TV project with Objective productions – a comedy series taster for Channel 4 written by Penelope Skinner and E.V. Crowe. Ella is also a freelance script editor, working with award-winning writers such as Gwyneth Hughes, Hossein Amini, Peter Harness, and Peter Moffat.
