Jeff East

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Jeff East found his debut role as a teenager in the 1973 movie-musical version of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, an adaptation of the novel of the same name. The following year, he featured in the film's sequel, named after his character Huckleberry Finn. His next big role was the part of Superman in the 1978 Superman: The Movie, widely considered to be one of the finest in the Superman franchise.
