Melise (born Elizabeth Melise Jow) is an American actress and singer-songwriter. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melise moved to California with her mother Lanae Tillery Jow, one sister Makenna Jow and two brothers Jensen and Braden Jow, when she was nine years old. Melise is of half-Chinese American and part-Cherokee descent. As a child, she would often sing the national anthem at local baseball games.
