Jon Beavers is a California based actor, writer, and producer. He was born on May 21, 1984, in Iowa City, Iowa, but attended high school in Maui, Hawaii, where he began his career as a writer and actor.
Jon's major television roles include Nick Jr.'s The Fresh Beat Band (2009–2013) and Fresh Beat Band of Spies (2015–2016), Nat Geo's The Long Road Home (2017), TNT's Animal Kingdom (2019–2021), NBC's Bel-Air (2022), and Hulu's Paradise (2025).
His notable film appearances include The Only One (2020), Licorice Pizza (2021), Soft & Quiet (2022), which he co-produced, and Horizon: An American Saga (2024).
His musical, The Unfortunates, co-created by Beavers, Ian Merrigan, Ramiz Monsef, Casey Hurt, and Kristoffer Diaz, premiered at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2013. It was produced again at ACT San Francisco in 2016 before being made available for theatrical licensing in 2021 with Uproar Theatrics.
