Katherine Evans was born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
She fell in love with performing at a young age, singing and acting out songs at voice recitals and taking dance classes. She discovered musical theatre and obtained her first role with a professional company at ten years old. As a young teenager, Katherine began her career in film and television in Vancouver, taking the ferry over from the island to audition and study with coach Kirsten Clarkson of Screen Acting School.
Katherine received awards recognition for her first five television appearances: in AMC/Netflix's The Killing (2011), in BBC America's Intruders (2014), in the History Channel's Six (2017), in the CW's Supernatural (2005), and in Citytv's The Murders (2019).
Katherine is best known for her roles in Disney's The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Killing (2011), Six (2017), and Supernatural (2005).
