Born in Trinidad, Michael Rogers began his career as an actor and director with the Everyman Company in Brooklyn. He also spent five years teaching acting and playwriting in Harlem. Rogers received an MFA from the Yale School of Drama.
Michael Rogers is a founding member of La Compagnia De' Colombari and has appeared in seven productions for Theatre for a New Audience. He has also appeared on Broadway.
