Hugo Weaving

Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, Hugo Weaving spent his early childhood traveling between Nigeria, Great Britain and Australia, due to the cross-country demands of his father's job. In 1976 the family settled in Australia where he graduated from Sydney's National Institute of Dramatic Art. His film debut was a minor role in the 1980 ...Maybe This Time, and his debut television role was that of Douglas Jardine in the 1984 series Bodyline.
