Born in Washington, DC, Jeannetta Arnette grew up in North Carolina where she attended George Washington University before dropping out to pursue an acting career in Los Angeles. Early credits include roles in the 1977 film Teenage Graffiti, and the following year in the film The Redeemer: Son of Satan!, along with a guest appearance in a 1978 episode of Chico and the Man.
