A native Alaskan, Aaron Hendry grew up on the outskirts of the fishing village of Homer with his mother, a registered nurse, and one brother.
He decided to pursue a career in acting during high school and drove by himself thousands of miles from Homer to Los Angeles in order to audition for the UCLA drama program, from which he would ultimately graduate. While there he performed in several plays, among them Robert Schenkkan's "The Kentucky Cycle" in which he played Michael Rowen.
After school he spent several seasons performing with the Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga, CA, and soon began landing roles in television and film.
