TV icon Ross Kemp will soon be back on BBC One and iPlayer to urge more teams of celebrities to “step on the truths and steer clear of the lies” as hit quiz show, Celebrity Bridge of Lies, returns for a new series on Saturday 3 May.
The nail-biting show sees much-loved actor and presenter Kemp presiding over teams of celebrities as they try to win money for charity by crossing the bridge, careful to step on the truths and avoid the lies, or risk falling off and out of the game.
Back for a third series, Celebrity Bridge of Lies has been extended to 10 new episodes in its Saturday night slot, after the last series reached a peak of 2.3m viewers in Spring 2024.
The first episode of the new series will feature a team made up of some of the UK’s most popular TV presenters:
Matt Allwright (The One Show)
Kaye Adams (Loose Women)
Ade Adepitan (Paris 2024 Paralympic Games)
Charlotte Hawkins (Good Morning Britain)
Matt is challenged to find songs with repeated words in their titles; Kaye must look for landmarks found in Italy; Ade is tasked with finding pairs of sportspeople known for the same sports; and Charlotte must only step on the tiles that feature horned animals. Sounds straightforward enough – but will any of them flounder under the studio lights and Ross’ watchful eye?
Celebrity Bridge of Lies returns to BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 3 May.
