J.K. Rowling's production company Brontë Film and TV confirmed that it was adapting 'The Ink Black Heart' for the BBC. Production will begin later in 2023, with a premiere set for 2024. 'The Ink Black Heart' is penned under Rowling's pseudonym Robert Galbraith and will become Series 6 of 'Strike', which is known as 'C.B. Strike' in the U.S. The BBC is preparing the 'Strike' renewal after apologising twice to Rowling last month because guests on news shows accused her of being transphobic.

Hey p6, 👋 yes my husband and myself really enjoy this show. Excellent writing and acting, great chemistry between the two leads.
Absolutely love this show. Totally engrossing and entertaining. Really enjoy watching the character developments and plot lines.
Interesting choice of day for Deadline to publish this story. Probably just a coincidence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Transgender_Day_of_Visibility
I I love that show too and I agree on the J.K. Rowling issue.
Strike is brilliant! The two protagonists (Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger) are amazing, highly charismatic, and there's a great chemistry between them. The storylines are captivating. The opening theme ("I Walk Beside You" by Beth Rowley) is mesmerising. All in all, an excellent show! I'm so glad it was renewed! 😊 And so deeply saddened with J.K. Rowlings' views on transgender people. 😔
