The drama series was the last remaining question mark in NBC’s scripted lineup from the 2020-2021 season. The broadcaster also recently axed the dramas “Manifest,” “Debris,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Like “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” and “Manifest,” there had been talks about finding “Good Girls” a new home on a streaming platform, but that move ultimately did not work financially.

NBC keeps all the shows that reassure Old People that society is kept safe for them. If they only knew the real statistics. A shockingly large percentage of murders go unsolved. Forever. Healthcare only benefits the rich. In today's America Emergency Services if they accomplish anything at all it is to financially ruin the victims they are sent to help. Good Girls gone and Debris too? (Debris was excellent along the writing of Fringe.) Buh bye NBC. Oh? some "EXCELLENT shows" in the new lineup for fall? Yeah don't care. If I like em, you will cancel them. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist? Wow feel good drama fantasy that didn't shy away from the "heavy stuff". Can't have creativity when we have procedurals. Because tv has never had enough procedurals.
I guess they think Dick Wolf should have all of the NBC lineup. Good Girls was the last refreshingly different show on that network,. R.I.P. NBC.
Typical! NBC have cancelled the shows that were remotely interesting on their network and stuck with the usual dross of shows focused on emergency services and crime. sighs
