There are enough good characters, with more new additions possible now, to carry this show for two more seasons. The talent is far better, with a far better basic story theme than "Two and a Half Men" and that show limped on for four dismal seasons.
I was actually getting tired of the seemingly constant whining of the Christy character. If the writing remains as good as it has been. I believe Allison Janny and the rest of this excellent cast can more than carry this show going forward. That's my opinion and we all know the old saying about "opinions".
Agreed... Christy has definitely been dealt the short straw when it comes to character development.
I know. I wonder how much further past the upcoming season Mom will last. As much as I like everyone on the cast, to a certain extent I can't blame Anna for leaving. All the other characters seem to have had character development as the show progressed, Christy seems to have regressed a lot in the past few seasons (at least in my opinion), it can get kind of tiring to watch after a while.
I could be wrong, but I have a hard time believing this show will move forward without her.
This is the reason why we can't have nice things
She has issues with long term commitments apparently.
Very bad news...
They might as well cancel it
