I'm pretty sure they are shooting season 38 right now.
Looks like they have re-arranged the display on the cast list. I may have been right on my initial speculation.
I know they usually have one extra filmed season in the bank when the current season is airing...but I can't help but imagine that current and future filming may be affected by current politics and may require extra security. The production team is very good about editing episodes, hopefully no issues with future seasons!!
This may be a spoiler alert but upon checking the "full cast list", the order in which their picture were displayed is perhaps the same order in which they will be eliminated, starting from the bottom. Hmmmm...
