Yahya Sinwar, the wanted leader of the militant group Hamas, was killed by Israeli troops in Gaza, Israel said Thursday. He is one of five top Hamas leaders who have been assassinated since the Oct. 7 attack that sparked the Israel-Hamas war. An independent bipartisan panel released a report Thursday that examined the Secret Service failures that led up to the attempted assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump during a July campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The panel also said the Secret Service has become bureaucratic, complacent and static. Nicole Sganga has more. The village of Cortez on Florida's west coast took a direct hit from Hurricane Milton. But several homes in one Cortez community emerged from the storm unscathed. That is because developers built those homes specifically to withstand hurricanes. Dave Malkoff explains.
