Hurricane Helene continued to strengthen as it neared Florida's gulf coast Thursday. The storm is expected to bring historic flooding to the Southeast, with potential storm surges of up to 20 feet. Manuel Bojorquez has the latest from Tampa Bay. Helene is expected to make landfall in Florida's Big Bend area as a major hurricane, bringing with it the risk of serious flooding to the Southeast. Jason Allen has the latest. As fighting between Israel and Hezbollah continues, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday rejected a U.S.-backed proposal for a three-week cease-fire. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have taken vastly different approaches to handling the war in Ukraine. Operating out of underground boiler rooms across Ghana, online criminal syndicates prey on older Americans, running sophisticated scams that break hearts and empty bank accounts.
