John Lacey one day comes home and find a letter from his wife saying she is leaving him for his best friend and he has to move out. In order to deal with his new situation, John finds himself attending a meeting of a singles where he meets the rest of the team, namely Kate, Kirk, Ralph, and the group's chairperson Louise.

My mom loved this show... and I loved watching this with her when I was still just a kid... though now that I think about it, I never stopped being a kid :P
