Aye, seems they keep going back to that status quo to be able to somewhat "redo" the episodes of exploring these things. I fully agree with you though.
One thing i don't get is given all the things they have been through with the supernatural how are they still non believers in this show. Initially the show stayed true to its theme by making things vague and ambiguous so anything supernatural had an alternate explanation in reality and so people could choose what type of show they were watching but now so much has happened that the only explanation is that the show exists in a supernatural universe..And yet the sceptics in the show still refuse to believe in god and the supernatural..
