Action from heat one in Sacramento, California, as the 44th edition of the prestigious strongman contest got under way. Scotsman Tom Stoltman began his bid to retain the title, and faced competition from compatriot Andy Black, American Kevin Fairies and Chile's Manuel Angulo, who became the first ever South American representative in the competition.
