No matter how sincerely some white people want to educate themselves and take action against racism, white comfort seems to block progress.
The episode was great up until the panel. I can't stand Andrew Sullivan, he just derailed the conversation by denying that structures of white supremacy don't exist. He twisted the discussion in the usual conservative way of asking ignorant question to avoid having an actual productive conversation.
He was actually a perfect example of what the problem is.
