The final episode of the Sky Original fantasy series arrives, as Diana and Matthew prepare for the final confrontation.
It's almost like they ran out of money. They skipped the first half of the book. Glossed over the middle and then over simplified the ending. Then there was the use of almost no special effects. This is the season that could have used the most of them.
It's hard to know what difference more episodes would have made. The storylines they left out, like Phoebe becoming a vampire etc, probably couldn't have been done in three more episodes.
I thought it was a good season, but it did feel rushed... and didn't help that it was shorter than the other 2. I felt like season 2 dragged a lot more, especially the stuff in the past. Felt like they could've gotten through that a lot faster, or not had as many episodes.
For me that was a perfect ending to an amazing show.
A disappointing final season! They cut so much storyline out that it really dragged in places.
