Wow...I can't believe she was so evil that she did that to him.
I found this episode quite excellent.
You search the tv show forums that populate the interwebs and you'll find various incarnations of me complaining about that lack of quality female villains or anti-heros. We usually get: one dimensional psychopath/ baddie of the week, Being coerced or manipulated, Sees the error of their ways and seeks redemption, Ultimately well meaning but refused to stop and explain themselves to the hero.
There have been a few noteworthy exceptions, Scarlett O'Hara( had to go way back for that one), Lilah Morgan(the highlight of Angel), Moriarty(Of Elementary fame), and there's a case to be made for Gemma Teller(Sons of Anarchy). Cersei existed outside of any practical legal or ethical constructs.
I say all of this to say that whatever my feeling towards the rest of the show, I'm a huge fan of "Mr. Wilford".
