Middle class and educated, Phlebotomist Julia is not your usual jail bird. Having never been in trouble with the law before, she's been charged with the murder of her ex- boyfriend. She'll have to learn to navigate jail and contemplate the possibility of life behind bars. When an inmate fails a drug test, the full weight of prison rule comes down on her. Although expecting much less, a meeting with Missy's lawyer reveals she's looking at up to twenty years. How will the mom of three cope with such a long term?
