Hit BBC Two series Vienna Blood is not a true story, and is not based on real events. Instead the show is based on British novelist Frank Tallis's Liebermann book series. Set in Vienna, Austria at the turn of the century. Max Liebermann is a different type of detective for a historical mystery – in that he is a psychoanalyst.
Historical crime show from BBC? Just three long episodes? Sounds promising!
But, no.
This is utter garbage. Predictable, banal, stupid. Bad actors, bad script, used every cliche in the book.
Avoid it, you will not get those 90 minutes of your life back.
