I enjoyed empathising with Lea's struggle. The continuing arc between Claire and Melendez was crafted to feel natural while resetting the status quo. I found it disappointing that the writers set up a potential polyamory story line and then shoots it down with all of the finesse of a 70's cop show handling homosexuality. I hope that Renaud is on the wrong side of history, for humanity's sake, (but I can see how that might complicate future episodes and possibly alienate some of the audience.)
