Hrothbert of Bainbridge, or Bob for short is a thousand year old sorcerer and Harry's mentor. Bob is cursed to spend all of eternity as a spirit trapped in his own skull after he used black magic to resurrect his true love, Winnifred.
Bob originally served Harry's uncle, Justin Morningway, however his allegiance changed while tutoring Harry as a child and after Morningway's death, Harry inherited Bob's skull.
