Bandit

Jeffrey the Dog played Bandit on Little House on the Prairie from 1977-1982. He appeared in 10-episodes and was owned by Ray Berwick who was an animal trainer/handler for over 20 big movies and television series mostly handling birds. It is unknown when Jeffrey was born or when he passed. Michael Landon wanted to change up story lines and introduce a new dog to the family, so Barney, the dog that played Jack was written out of the show and replaced by Jeffrey (Bandit)
