David McNamara is first seen sitting in the passenger seat with his wife of 5 years, Molly McNamara, on February 22nd, 1992. They seem to have lost their direction, but David insists that they haven't when Molly, his wife, starts complaining. He states that they are on Highway 99, but when the two pass by a road sign, they're on Highway 41. He tells Molly that they are, 'just taking the scenic route'. Molly gets annoyed, and David tries to cheer her up by acting playfully, and Molly takes eyes off the road, looking at him as he acts silly. David sees something in the road and screams, which makes Molly focus again, and notice a man on the road. She jerks on her breaks, which causes her to swerve off the highway into a tree. David survives this incident, but Molly does not. The second (and last) time David is seen, he is in a house, presumably his, with his now wife, 15 years after the incident, on February 22nd, 2007, after Dean and Sam show her (Molly) where her husband was.
