CBS renewed a chunk of its lineup last week. The Neighborhood will be back next year for its seventh season. In a surprise move, the network uncancelled SWAT last week. The Shemar Moore series will return next fall for an eighth season. NCIS was renewed for a twenty-second season. Interestingly, NCIS: Hawai'i was not on the list. The latest NCIS spinoff is one of the lowest-rated dramas on the network. It's possible the network will replace the series with the planned NCIS prequel instead of creating another franchise night. There is also the rumored Michael Weatherly/Cote de Pablo series in the mix to consider.  The big news, however was the Tuesday night FBI block. Parent series, FBI, was renewed for the next three seasons. Fans will be able to follow the show through at least 2027. Spin-offs FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted were renewed for the 2024-25 season.  In ratings news, Elsbeth lost another three hundred thousand viewers. So Help Me Todd returned after a month off, up two hundred thousand viewers.

NBC had a quiet week. Back-to-back episodes of Lopez vs Lopez were a mixed bag, with the result being the total viewers last week were lower than the combined episodes the previous week. The show is consistently pulling a million fewer viewers than Extended Family. If the network decides to cancel one of its remaining comedies, it's likely to be Lopez vs Lopez. The Law & Order block returned after a couple of weeks off. Parent series, Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU  were down one hundred thousand viewers each. Law & Order: Organised Crime was down three hundred thousand viewers.

FOX may have a problem. The Sunday animation block continued to wallow last week, with The Great North and Grimsburg pulling less than 500,000 viewers. Krapopolis wasn't much better, barely managing a little over 500,000 viewers. Even venerable series, The Simpsons, couldn't manage a million viewers, coming in at little over 800,000. The two scripted shows didn't do much better. The Cleaning Lady and Alert: Missing Persons Unit were even with the previous week's low numbers.

CW premiered Patti Stranger: Matchmaker last week to middling numbers. Lovers & Liars was pulled from its regular slot for a repeat of Canadian import Sight Unseen. A repeat of Lovers & Liars followed the Patti Stranger premiere, so it's unclear if the network plans to yank the series or move it. Walker picked up two hundred thousand viewers over its premiere. All American was even.
