The Last Time to Look on This World of Lies
Yet another 2022 season victim of Covid: written by staff writers, who were probably the only people under contract they could gather in a hurry once lockdown was lifted. And so, what do those inexperienced people write? At best rehash of previous seasons, at worst network-level basic sh*t... It's a dud. Just hope it won't be cancelled and season 4 will be up to par. Or that studios won't figure they can write whole seasons for half the price with interns...
Episode One
just as creepy as the book and the movie. Though I think Moffat managed the same plot well in Doctor Who, the material here is simply too limiting to salvage this dreadful story. Not to mention Theo James is a major yawn, especially when facing Rose Leslie who's a lot more charismatic. TBH, he's even yawn when playing to 10y.o Clare...

was there ever any doubt? yes, this is a "reveal" but to a plot so thin it was probably written on a single sheet of toilet paper...
not to mention mulder wannabe FBI agent plot, which was beyond ridiculous.
