The Terror is an American anthology television series exploring historical speculative fiction based on true events.
The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.

Season 3 is just lousy script writing with an unsatisfying ending. Dan Stevens needs a new agent.
Sheesh, i was curious about this show, it's different to what i thought it was, then i seen your comment and thought, okay nah wont bother........... then i seen the end of your review and you compared it to From....... then i looked at your profile and ALL of your comments are negative, so yeah, ignoring your reviews is a number one priority, because the last time i listened to a review from someone like you, i missed a full season of a really good show.

The lack of anything that resembles logic is astounding. Cops just drop someone off at a mental hospital without any trail or paperwork? Illogical. Man attacks woman Pepper defends her and 3 people attack him supposedly undercover cops but don't do not announce that they are police? Illogical. Woman's boyfriend gets taken by police and is missing for days and no one is looking for him? Illogical. I'm out. The dumb factor is to too great with this season. Instead of paying high salaries on named actors, pay for writers that have talent. Characters are flatter than cardboard. Storyline doesn't progress. It's as bad as From, weird for the sake of weird without any explanation or conclusions. Anyone with a pencil can write a string of weird events. 👎
