Nive Nielsen started her career as front woman for her band Nive and the Deer Children. The band traveled the world and has once numerous awards international music bodies. She currently has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and a Master of Arts in Visual Anthropology from Goldsmiths College in the UK. She portrayed an Inuit woman in the series "The New World" and recently she starred in AMC's "The Terror" as the character Lady Silence.
