Paramount+ announced that the hit original crime series "Criminal Minds: Evolution" has been renewed for another season. The next season is expected to commence production in 2023. The 10-episode current season premiered on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 2022 and the season finale will be available to stream Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023.

Sept. 9, 2022 - Paramount+ today announced the official title of its upcoming "Criminal Minds" season, CRIMINAL MINDS: EVOLUTION. Produced by ABC Signature and CBS Studios, CRIMINAL MINDS: EVOLUTION is slated to premiere this fall exclusively on Paramount+.

CBS has renewed the long-running crime drama for a 15th and final season, to air during the 2019-20 TV season. The farewell salvo will consist of 10 episodes, which will film this spring and bring the show’s run to 324 total episodes.

When CBS crime drama Criminal Minds clinched another last minute renewal in May, the number of episodes was not revealed amid speculation that the veteran series may be getting an abbreviated final season.
