Production on the “Supergirl” curtain call is set to begin later this month, and the writers have already started developing storylines for the final 20 episodes, according to sources. The network is aiming to premiere the sixth and final season sometime in 2021.

Superman has found his Lois Lane. Former Grimm star Elizabeth Tulloch is set opposite Tyler Hoechlin as the Man of Steel’s love interest Lois Lane for the CW’s annual epic Arrowverse DC/WBTV crossover. The three-night event kicks off with The Flash on at 8 PM Sunday, December 9, followed by Arrow on at 8 PM December 10 and capping off with Supergirl on December 11.

Supergirl is undergoing another casting change as we approach its Sunday, Oct. 14 premiere (8/7c). Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5) will join the CW drama in the recurring role of Vice President Baker, TVLine has learned. He replaces Brent Spiner, who had to vacate the role due to family issues conflicting with the show’s production dates.
