A English and Radio presenter who began her career as a researcher for the BBC. She presented her first show in 2002 for Channel Five. She then joined BBC Asian Network in 2005 and since then has begun presenting a wide variety of shows across the BBC.
Anita Rani is one of the best known faces on British television. She's one of the lead reporters on BBC One's primetime Sunday night series "Countryfile" and is a regular part of the "One Show" team, the BBC's flagship daily topical magazine show. Anita is no stranger to the Royal family – a highlight being covering the Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton for the BBC. Anita was based at the Goring Hotel where Kate had been staying overnight and was one of the first to get a glimpse of the dress, broadcasting the moment live to millions worldwide.
Anita is both journalist and host, drawing the audience into stories whether it's making an emotional and sobering series about Indian partition or taking to the floor in sequins for the U.K. version of "Dancing with the Stars." She's fronted series including "World's Busiest Cities," "The Refugee Camp: Our Desert Home," and a wide range of factual programs, for both the "This World strand," and the "Four Wheels" series, all for the BBC.
Anita will be heading to Windsor for "Royal Wedding Watch" where she'll bring us all the latest news on preparations at the Castle.
